Requirements
- OS X 10.3.9 or higher
- Safari 1.3 or higher
- Growl 0.7 or higher
About
GrowlSafari is a plug-in to Safari to make it post Growl notifications on download-related events.
Installing GrowlSafari
- Quit Safari.
- Double-click on the GrowlSafari package. It is on the Growl disk image, in the Extras directory.
- Follow the on-screen instructions.
Removing GrowlSafari
Make sure Safari is not running, then go into /Library/InputManagers and move GrowlSafari to the trash.
Notification Types
Currently, GrowlSafari posts Growl notifications when these things happen in Safari:
- Download complete
- Copying disk image
- Mounting disk image
- Compression status changed
- New feed entry (Safari 2.0 and later only)
